GrandOrgue is a software sampler designed specifically for the simulation of pipe organs.
It is specially optimized for minimal latency and high polyphony.
An organ is made of a definition file and a set of stops.
An Organ Definition File, or ODF, and the corresponding set of stop waves are provided when you get a sample set.
The Organ is controlled by some MIDI device, like a single MIDI keyboard, a MIDI organ console or MIDI files. A MIDI port is required.

Le logiciel GrandOrgue transforme un PC en un Orgue à tuyaux Virtuel.
Il utilise un orgue constitué d'un fichier de définition de l'orgue et d'un ensemble de jeux.
Ces deux composantes sont fournies lorsque vous obtenez un orgue pour ce logiciel.
L'orgue est commandé par des signaux MIDI, au moyen d'un clavier MIDI, d'une console d' orgue MIDI ou d'un lecteur de fichier de musique MIDI.
Il faut un port MIDI.
